Alright here it goes..?

Question

so freshman year in high school i was on JV dance team ....then last year i was on Varsity and we have basically has a differnt coach every year befcause of ISSUES?..so umm now i tihnk we finally have a permemet dance coach and she put me on JV so im the oldest person on jv and all the freshman girls are like wayy immature and we dont even havce a coach i found out because she quit so im going to be running the team pretty much..... and the new coach told me that if i did good at camp i would get moved up and i have been trying really hard and i still dont know if i got moved up or not and being on jv is just as hard buit we get made fun of and some of the girls have never even danced before. i i was thinkin that i should just quit if i dont get moved up and dance at my studio because its way not fun being on JV so plaes help whta should i do...

well, i am also on the dance team...and some friends/ team members of mine had the same issue. i think that you should be on the team because you enjoy it and  you want to. if you aren't enjoying dancing with the team anymore, then why should you suffer? maybe you should just stick with it until the season ends, just so you don't let your team down and so you aren't, you know, like labeled a quitter or something..maybe even try out again just to see if you have a last chance at Varsity, you 've got nothing to lose. I'm on Varsity for the first time and it's great being like the best of the best... but anyway, if you don't make varsity, then you can quit. It would probably be much more fun to dance at your school with girls (and guys?) your own age.

Don't give up! If you don't get moved up, just realize that your only getting better no matter what team you are on.  If you truly want to be on the dance team, then it doesn't matter which one you are on! And you never know, some of the freshmen could turn out to be really nice! Just don't give up on your dream!!
