  1. Squat

    Clean

    Deadlift

    low reps, lots of weight

    explosive movements

    sprint uphill for acceleration and power

    sprint downhill for form maintenance and having your body get used to running at high speeds.

    eat well


  2. use a chute, adds drag so that when you run with it off you feel lighter.  You can also have someone run behind you with bungees tied to your waist.
