Alrighty.. So I can't decide on a type of hamster.?

Question

I'm torn between a dwarf hamster and a golden hamster!

I know that the Golden hamster tame easier and are great for people like me who want to hold them and cuddle them..

But, the dwarf ones are the ones that I've had before, and I think that they are cuter and sweet.

I've thought about this nonstop for three days,

And No one will help me!

So what do you think?

Honestly, dwarves may look sweeter, but in my experience, they're less likely to cuddle.  

If you've had dwarves before, and know you want to hold/cuddle a lot, why not get a syrian?  I have both, but I don't really prefer one over the other.

DWARF. OR YOU COULD TRY TEDDY BEAR HAMSTERS. THEY BOTH HAVE GREAT DISPOSITIONS, AND ARE NOTORIOUSLY LOYAL.

Aww!! Haha it is funny that you ask this question. I was in the EXACT same position as you when trying to decide which hamster I should get!

I ended up getting a Golden Hamster (AKA SYRIAN) I got a Syrian hamster because they don't need other hamster company, like people, sweeter, nicer, and better for children. They are less likely to bite then the dwarf Species. If they do escape it is pretty easy to find them

Dwarf hamsters DO seem so cute and sweet. They are NOT that sweet though. They are only good if you want to watch them, NOT play with them. They will bite more often and do NOT like to be handled at all. If they escape, which they are more likely to, it is hard to find them. Overcome the cuteness like I did (lol) and get a Golden Hamster. They can still be just as cute! They are very nice =]

to be truth you really shouldnt come to us for a GOOD answer, but i will give you (of course) my opinion i think you should get a syrian cause i had a great one named hammy and he lived to be three they do live the longest and you can cuddle with them, as far as dwarfs go they sound like they come with problems like short life span, if they were to get loose they are quick, and you cuddle as much. I hope you pick the best buddy YOU chose.

Golden Hamsters are better...they are friendlier and slow, so if they escape from their cage you can catch them quickly.

teddy bear hamsters .. if you want to hold them and cuddle with them i suggest giving them lots of attention and holding them on a daily basis or else they dont like to be held
