Alska cruise excursion question!?

For all those who have been on an alaska cruise, what would you recommend for the excursions? My cruise line is Holland America and it would be this May. And please keep in mind the prices, nothing beyond $250 a person. THANK YOU!

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Ports of Call", then "Alaska".  You'll find great feedback from past passengers regarding which excursions are best and how to do excursions on your own, if that's what you want.  You can find out the prices of ship-sponsored excursions by going to Holland's website and  entering your registration number, etc.

White pass rails is excellent. And so is a floatplane to Misty Fjords, helicopter tour to Glacierbay in Juneau.

I went to Alaska on Princess, but my very favorite tour was going on the White pass railroad. It had incredible sites and was just stunning. We saw Bald Eagles, mountain sheep, and the area that was done on foot for those who were heading to mine gold 100 years ago. As far as I'm concerned that tour is a absolute must.
