Question:

Also, one pointe shoe seems a bit smaller than the other, is that normal?

I know usually my left foot is a little bit bigger than right side. How do I compensate this in these shoes? The one on the right fits perfect, on the left, my toenail is hitting the cardboard and it's pretty uncomfortable. Should I try a different shoe or up a size? If I up a size my right one may be too small. Ideas? lol

  1. If i were you i'd up the size and fill in the space with a piece of  cloth or lambs wool. I am very fortunate and don't have this problem. If the space is too big and the smaller shoe doesn't bother you too much stick with the smaller shoe.

    Hope I helped some.

    Good luck!

  2. That's really frustrating. I've had to deal with that before. I just stuffed a little lamb's wool into the end of my shoe or toe pad to fill the space or you could try using two different toe pads. The gel ones are bigger than than ouch pouches.

Sorry about your situation, I know it sucks.

Hope this helped, though! = )

  3. Same thing with me. My left foot is bigger than my right foot. You have to get the size that fits you bigger foot. and it shouldn't make too much of a difference on your right foot if you wear pads. but if it is really bothering you, use some loose lambswool in the bottom of your pointe shoe.
