Also, while on the subject, what is the matter with Nathan Thompson?

I'm sure he must be suffering again from his illness that finished him at Hawthorn.

He walks around the ground not interested in the ball. He was dropped for a couple of games earlier & it was claimed he had a sore knee. He returned but just performed in the same manner. It was embarrassing to watch him out there.

Now he has been dropped again after kicking something like two goals in four games. Even I could still do that. He certainly appears to have problems in my opinion.

  1. And to think a year and a half ago he was going to decimate the scoreboard with his kicking finess and he's marking capabilities. I think he was out of the game for too long and perhaps has lost some of the passion/confidence in the game and himself.

  2. hes a bit old

  3. I don' think it has anything to do with his illness. I think that he enjoys playing in the environment at North Melbourne, and the only thing letting him down is his fitness. He seems content when he appears in the media, like on the Footy Show.

  4. i think he is finished sure he plays well in the lowers but he cant go much lnger since he left hawks he has dropped

  5. What's wrong with him? I think he surely must still be suffering some ill affects of his past illness.

Why else would someone, on a couple of hundred grand a year, throw it all down the drain - as he appears to be doing.

  6. They are saying that its related to the injury he was out with earlier in the season but I am wondering if maybe he is suffering depression???

The previous state of things at the Kangaroos along with pressure from the AFL to relocate and the whole guernsey bullcrap thing in regard to the Pies game would send anyone into depression!

  7. I think poor old Nathan needs to give the game away.

The Kangaroos should do with him what I did in my Fantasy team. I traded him ages ago.
