do you put pressure on your petals for bmx fakie rollbacks when your petals are flat horizontaly or up and down vertically? is it easier one way?

to roll backwards you want your cranks to be spinning faster then you cassete makes you move backwards. if you have a freecoaster you wont have to pedal backwards but will have a harder time turning out. to turn out with a cassette you have to turn you tire then put pressure on your pedal when you swing your tire the other way you turned it to complete the 180 degress or a turn out. foot position is personal preference and just seeing what works for you. you  could half cab out which is just a fakie hop 180. it is harder but more fun.
