Are you still in shock over Skip Caray's sudden death yesterday? Where were you when your first heard of his death? Now without Skip Caray's presence in the Braves' booth, do you think their broadcasting booth will be the same, and why and why not?

  1. yes, i was watching the cubs highlights

  2. Actually, not to be mean or anything, but I dont really care?

  3. I am a lifelong Braves fan. I have literally heard Skip Caray's voice calling Braves games for my entire life. It is definitely a shock for me. I like the whole family...Harry, Skip, Chip (I haven't heard Josh). I was actually watching TV last night when I heard it. I couldn't believe it.

You can't replace a legend. Someone will step in, and I'm sure they will also have a passion for the game, but I'm sure Cubs fans can back me up (since Harry Caray was a Cubs announcer) when I say that it is impossible to actually replace a legend. The organization and fans will have to move on. Remember the legend but accept that someone new is coming in. I'm sure the Braves broadcasting booth will still have a lot of vigor coming out of it once these wounds have healed. It is a very sad day though.
