Alterations help...I need my pants hemmed and I'm wondering how much does it cost?

I would like to get my dress pants hemmed by a professional. It seems that over the summer they have all come out in some manner. Well anyway do you know about how much it cost to get a pair of pants hemmed?

I've had to get many pants hemmed and had alot of alterations done, i think it depends on where you bring them. but it really shouldnt cost that much, its not hard to do. i cant remember how much exactly but i think it was around 10 dollars.
