I work out a lot but not a big fan of water or gatorade or anything like that . So i like to drink Arizona Iced tea.

Im a big fan of Iced tea because It doesnt have caffeine or any of that and still hydrates you with a good taste. But i have recently found out that Arizona lemon Ice Tea, my favorite tea I started drinking to replace soda, Has a lot of sugar and calories and isnt as good as i thought it was for me. I want to find a lemon Ice tea to replace my arizona ice tea that has the same just right sweet flavor.

I know how to make Ice tea myself and I know thats better. But when you store it for to long...after about 3 or 4 days It doesnt have the same taste, especially if i add lemon to it, . If anyone has a way to extend the life of Iced Tea that would help to.

Thank you

.Chris

  1. Yes, the age of the tea does matter. Since tea is a leaf, over time, it will get stale and pick up other flavors, if exposed to them. If your tea is overwrapped like ours, it should be protected for up to two years from the day it was packed. 2. The lemon should help extend the life and as long as it is refrigerated I wouldn't worry about it going bad.  I would make enough for the week and then repeat.
