Alternative Rock - similar to Joy Division?

Question

My husband loves Joy Division. Current bands with a similar sound are Editors and Interpol. I heard a song by another band with a singer who sounded a lot like Ian Curtis but I can't think of the band's name. I think it had a one word animal name like "Badgers" but when I looked on You Tube, I couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any idea what band I heard (and really liked)? Thanks in advance.

What Tuesday said(and great song.Bauhaus is my favorite band).

ALSO,the singer in Sisters of Mercy sounds more like Ian Curtis(the singer in Joy Division).The genre is called gothic rock(one of my favorites).Nothing specifically comes to mind with the word "Badgers" but you could-generally check out these bands
