Alternative cars for parking in highly congested areas.?

Just wondering that there are so many cars modelled every year. Has anyone thought about creating cars that can be parked in highly congested areas.

Take a look at some of the photos of say 'Chandni Chowk' before answering. Its a really congested area of Delhi. I wonder if anyone has, or is working on a car that can be compacted or something so that it may be parked easily?

The reva is a good car. The much hyped about 1 lakh car from tata could be a good choice. Right now, only the 800 fits your criteria.

The Samrt is a cleverly designed car. For now in India the electric Reva is the smallest car.

To solve parking problem better invest in building new underground and/or Multistory car-parks.

Do they sell the "smart" in Dehli? In Europe, you can park them across in between two "normally" parked cars.

So far of course there is the smart which can park in a normal bay sideways.  2 wheelers take up even less room.  But the answer to congestion is not to take your own personal transport unit into congested areas at all.
