Within the framework of the emerging markets with high growth rate, it becomes a necessity to have a low cost car.

This kind of vehicle has been researched by several car manufacturers. For example, Renault has developed La Logan, a rustic but conventional car with a price of 3,500 euros.

This kind of car is meant in particular for overcrowded and heavily polluted cities

Based on these facts and combining them with MDIs industrial concept advantages, we initiated the study of an extremely low cost, commercial and clean car:

Zero pollution in the city using compressed air

Low consumption and reduced pollution on the road using a bi-energy system

MDIÂ’s straightforward and inexpensive technology allows us to live up this challenge.

One type of alternative fuel vehicle is the plug in hybrid.  The commute is mostly powered by electricity (depending on how far you are travelling) and it greatly reduces your transportation emissions.

the obvio! car (made in brazil) can run on ethanol, gasoline, or natural gas...it is scheduled to be shipped to the US in 2008....

electric is the best fuel for motive force, eg high torque from 0rpm from cold, quiet, smooth; that is why it is used in trains and the first car to exceed 100kph http://www.speedace.info.

the alternative smelly complicated infernal combustion things that are foisted on us make no sense, they depend on finite fuel supplies from distant politically or environmentally sensitive areas, need a lot of refining, are difficult to transport etc.
