Alternative to Sash Weights?

I'm in the process of selling my house. The inspector indicated that i need to add sash weights to one of my windows. It appears to me that the original windows (and design of the window structure) didn't allow for sash weights. Is there any alternative to sash weights that i can use?

You can get a spring loaded system.........but you shouldn't need anything.........but a stick to hold them open.........it's not his business......you just need them to open to get out. Would be cheaper just to pull the parting bead and put two new units in.........bye
