Alternatives to Zuiko Digital lenses for Olympus E-500?

Are there other brands (model name) that offer lenses compatible for the Olympus E-500?

There are some third party lenses available but not to many. Check out Sigma or Tamron. It is almost always better to stick with original equipment but Sigma and Tamron aren't bad. See the link below. I did not notice any Tamron lenses but check their website and they might have some available.

Look for the Leica lenses that would fit on the Panasonic DSLR.  They are a perfect fit for the Olympus, same mounting and all.  Olympus has introduced some new lenses, you might want to check their web site.  

Actually, Zuiko lenses are among the best in the photographic market and are, at present, the only lenses for digital cameras that have the lenses made totally of glass
