Alternatives to flying when going to Philippines ?

Are there any viable alternatives to flying if i want to go to Philippines?

Please be specific.

Where do you live???   If Europe, Africa, or Asia, you can take a boat to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and they try to catch a boat....else get to Kuala Lampur or Jakarta and take a boat to Brunei and then on to Phillipines.  However, this is not an easy way to get there.  Getting a boat to take you is no easy task!
