Alternator on 1990 Escort SE?

How do you change an Alternator on a 1999 escort se with a/c because the a/c hose brackets are on the Alternator and how do you loosen and tighten the belt.

that car is a pain to work on,

but I don't remember precisely how.

I would just unbolt it to remove it, and once it is off you should see how the belt is adjusted..
