Obama is so far left in his views that he is rated as the most liberal Senator in Congress.  FDR was not a messiah.  If you understand history at all, you should know that his policies prolonged the depression.  He brought in socialist progrems that we have not been able to get rid of to this day.

if you truly feel that the needs of our country are draconian taxation and failed welfare schemes with no definiitive plan beyone unilateral surrender to al qaeda then the answer to your question is certainly yes.  otherwise the answer to your question is a definitive NO.

FDR was not an ideologue.  

When FDR took office, unemployment was at 28%, cash was leaving America at amazing and way past alarming rates, banks were closing in incredible numbers, foreclosures were at awesome rates - for example in one state 75% of ALL real property was sold in one week, and, financially, the nation was truly in a tailspin.

We are not facing such a crisis today.

Our next President should first balance the federal budget, as, this would do wonders for strengthening the dollar; act wisely diplomatically, and bring stability to the nation, really, that is what must be done.

He was and continues to be the MOST liberal Senator...Calling him conservative is like saying Rosie is straight.....or in simple terms....A BOLD FACE LIE....He is wrong for the country and will lose 50 of the 57 states he says there are as the gun toting and Bible hugging middle class WILL NOT put up with his promised tax increases and Socialist plan
