Question:

Although communism has collapsed worldwide, has the Left won the propaganda war?

By what most people say, even those who have benefited the most from the American capitalist system, it seems many have fallen directly into the hands of the Left. Has the Left somehow used capitalism more to its benefit than capitalists? The Left has certainly waged a much more successful ad campaign in selling its agenda than the capitalists and libertarians? Any thoughts?

  1. Communism collapsed???  Don't kid yourself.

It's only reinventing itself...and in case you forgot, that giant country named China is still unabashedly communist!  China is simply taking advantage of free trade to fill their coffers with Western money then watch that communist hammer come down!

As for the liberal left, no, they haven't won, although they'd love for everyone to think so.

  2. Yes. Michael Moore is a fine example of this. He's more of a capitalist pig than the worst of 'em for selling liberals what they want to hear under the guise of doing what is right, yet liberals hail him as a hero.

..The best scams are done right under your nose.

  3. Since Liberalism in America has nothing to do with communism, I don't know what you are talking about. Except that Liberals were right in not believing theConservative's  old Domino Theory.

The dominoes fell, all right, but not the way the cons thought they would.

  4. Obama is a Communist.

  5. ...you keep referring to this obscure "Left" as though it's a body separate from everything else.  Let me put this in perspective.  First off, next to no one in the liberal side of politics is touting communism, I want to get that out of the way immediately.  Second, almost all liberals practice capitalist ideals.  In fact, many liberals align with libertarians in many of their views.  You act as though "the Left" is a huge separate body that doesn't mingle at all with anything else.  It's not.  Third, if the American capitalist system has "fallen directly into" liberal "hands," then something's wrong.  Because I don't see environmental reform.  I don't see economic reform for social programs.  I don't see women getting equal pay to men in the workplace.  I don't see the war in Iraq ending within the next couple of years.

Well then you're point is more than moot.  There's no such thing as a body called "The Left."  If you want to define it differently, tell us what you mean.  Because if you mean communists, that's a whole other story, and that is also not a body known as "The Left."  I'm dying to know what you mean, since I obviously don't have the education to understand your use of this random and extremely broad group.
