The Albanian international has decided to call time on his playing career, as he has been forced to retire because of a recurrent knee injury.

muster up three appearances so far due to fitness issues.
Lala stated that he is sad to not have extended his stay with FC Hollywood as he was really looking forward to the project. The reserve side coach Mehmet Scholl suggested that the player is frustrated by his injury setback and
will not return to the playing field.
"I regret it very much that he is no longer available to us," the third division team trainer Mehmet Scholl was quoted as saying in an interview.
Scholl conceded that the midfielder was a nice person and a very good sportsman. He said that everyone at the club wish him a quick recovery and hope that he exceeds at whatever he chooses to do with his life.
"He was a great guy and a top sportsman and all of us at Bayern Munich hope that he can make a full recovery and we wish him all the best for his future," the former Karlsruher SC and Bayern Munich midfielder finally concluded.
