Alton Towers two day ticket?

My family are planning to go to Alton Towers in a few weeks, i have searched their web site for this information but no one can give me an answer. So please can anyone out there who knows tell me if i have to use the two day ticket on consecutive days or can i go for example, on the Tuesday and then again on the Friday of the same week?

my mum and dad had them when i was younger im pretty shore you can use them say monday then again further in the week use once more thursday  ect they just make a ticket unvalid

best thing to do is go prepared for 2 day and if they say yer you can do that it be oki if they say it 2 day's and stay in splash hotel you have got your stuff ready

I am sure it is valid for 2 consecutive days...is there a number for customer services on the website that you could call to clarify??
