Aluminum can bottle tops for money??

Question

i was wondering where can i get information about collecting bottle tops from cans(aluminum)and get money for it?i remember somebody telling me they give you 30 cents for each cap but i don't remember what else they said.

What you heard is 30 cents per pound.  It takes a lot of tops to add up to a pound.

noo,you get money for aluminum cans , tops arent worth much.
