  1. Plastic wrap because you can microwave it and unlike  aluminum foil with plastic wrap you full push down on the food to remove the oxygen to prevent if from spoiling more.

  2. The answer for this depends on what it is and how you are storing it. If you are storing a meat in the freezer neither, it should be wax paper with a label to know what it is. If it is something you are going to fix with in a couple days a plastic wrap would be good so you see it and remember it and don't let it go bad. If you are freezing something that will stick use wax paper wrap or if all you have is aluminum foil use it. plastic wrap should only be used for temporary wrapping. Plastic wrap makes a good short term and fridgerated wrap because it gives a good seal. Don't forget, do not refreeze most meats, such as chicken and pork.

  3. plastic wrap.

  4. depends on the food. some food have acidic components that could react to the foil. plastic wrap is a safe bet.

  5. I like plastic wrap.  That way when I look at it the next day I remember what is in it.  Also other family members see it and it gets eaten faster.

  6. If you want to know what is better for health: glass.  But if you had to choose only between foil and plastic, pick plastic.

  7. tupperware with lid :P

or i would use foil... its easier to mess with, thicker and seals better than plastic wrap.

  8. Foil. You don't have to fight with it! Hate plastic wrap!

  9. Plastic is better because its a tighter seal.  I would use foil maybe on fried items, since if I had to reheat it then I would have to put it in the toaster oven.

  10. it depends on the food and how you would reheat it.

  11. I prefer to use plastic wrap because I can wrap the food tighter and see what it is.  I can loosen it if I need to heat it in the microwave.

With foil it could end up as the "mystery monster" in the refrigerator if you forget what's in it and it's left in there too long.

  12. I read somewhere that aluminum has been associated with Alzheimer's

disease; so I avoid allowing foil to come in contact with food.

There seems to be no definite proof of this, but I'm cautious anyway.
