The central defender has admitted that his move to Germany would certainly lift his career and is looking forward to a successful campaign with the Foals.

Borussia Monchengladbach secured the signing of Alvaro Dominguez from Atletico Madrid for an undisclosed fee last month as the player signed a five-year deal. The defender was brought in as a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236, who left for
Bayern Munich in this summer’s transfer window.
Dominguez claimed that he has left the Spanish league for a very competitive German Bundesliga and is looking forward to the challenge. He insisted that Monchengladbach was a very good option as they played some brilliant football
last term. He is eager to make his name in Germany and wants to win trophies with Lucien Favre’s side.
The Spanish international admitted that the chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League was a great factor in joining the Foals. He added that winning the UEFA Europa League with Atletico twice is certainly the highlight of
his career and the defender now wants to prove himself in the UEFA Champions League.
“I have left the Primera Division, but the Bundesliga is a great league too. And Borussia is an attractive club, they were one of the best in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 last year. Another thing that was very important for me was that we share the
same football philosophy. So far in my career I've either played on the left side of central defence or at left-back,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Dominguez’s former youth coach, Javier Banos, is convinced that the player has made the right move and is confident that the Spaniard will be a success at the Borussia Park.
“He is a player who stands out because of his agility. He is very strong mentally and isn't afraid of anyone. Technically speaking, he is one of the best at his age,” he concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-Domínguez-c5285 made a total of 76 league appearances for Atletico Madrid and scored five goals in the process. The player also has two international caps to his name but is yet to score for La Roja.
