Analysing the situation, he advised his compatriots to be patient in unlocking their defence. Negredo followed up his excelled words of wisdom with words of caution against giving up the possession on the ball easily, stating that Italy will make them pay
for their mistakes.
The Real Madrid youth academy graduate also took out time to praise their rivals, commenting that Italy have the most omnipotent attack amongst the teams they have faced so far and claimed that their attackers will cause problems for Spanish defenders.
 “Italy are a more attacking team than in the past, and they like to move the ball around a bit. But they continue to play in a tough and robust manner," he was quoted on fifa.com.
"Playing against them can be a little exasperating, because they don’t leave you any gaps. We’ll have to be very patient."
