Alviro Petersen, the South African opening batsman, is not too fazed by the sledging of the Australian bowlers and expressed that intimidating words can sometimes motivate a batsman to be more focussed on the job at hand.
It is a norm for an Aussie speedster to sledge at the opposing batsmen, in order to distract them from the game and to induce false strokes.
