I am only 19 and am always so very tired. If i dont get at least 8 hours sleep at night I wont be able to function the next day, and will be sick and very bad upset stomach until i get some sleep!

Surely this isnt normal for someone my age?? I wan't very well when i was little either, i used to have stomach 'migranes' when i was sick every month, and i apparantly had glandular fever at 5 years old

I just dont know what to do - the doctors don't elive me...my glands are constantly up and i always feel so tired.

Any ideas anyone? and idea what it is.

I have never been able to keep up with friends my age, or even people older than me!!

I'm just so fed up of always being run down, I'm finding it harder and harder to get out of bed everyday!! help!!

  1. I think you should go back to the doctor so they can carry out blood tests to check for things like anemia.

What is your lifestyle like? diet/ partying/ drinking/ current medication etc

  2. I have a solution that will definitely work but first you have to try it for 90days. If your up to changing your lifestyle and gaining tonnes of energy email me at cjadinne@yahoo.com. Also check this website

  3. Depression medication . . . I looked it up and your symptoms seem to be very similar to some side effects caused by prescription antidepressants. There are also a lot of other possible causes, you didn't give enough information for an internet diagnosis. I would recommend seeing a few doctors that specialize in specific internal organs, maybe get an X-ray or blood test done. I had something similar happen to me a few years ago, it was horrible.

  4. Have you had a CBC and other lab work done??  Are you depressed?  Do you take vitamins regularly? Do you eat healthy foods?  It could be many things,,,, I suggest talking to your doc again and discussing possibilies after you get some lab work done, get on some good vitamins too.

  5. i suggest going to bed alot earlier

  6. There is a chance you could have a thyroid problem, mention to your doctor and he will probably send you for a blood test and go from there...

  7. What are you eating?  The type of foods you eat directly effect the amount of energy that you have.  It could be because you are not getting enough iron in your diet.

  8. it could be stress, your diet or lifestyle or even a type of diabetes, i doubt the diabetes tho

  9. ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO DO A BLOOD TEST SPECIFICALY  FOR SARCOIDOSIS  . DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SYMTOMS

  10. this guy that my mom works with had the same problem he was always tired and getting headaches and nausea well after complaining to the doctors enough they checked him thourolly and found out he had a brain tumor he was only 28, so if this problem continues you should ask your doctor for more attention.

  11. You could be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This can happen with people who has depression. So, see a doctor, please, for your sake.

  12. Are you eating a balanced diet?  Make sure you get enough protein and veggies and fruit.  And drink lots of water.  You should be taking a multi vitamin too.  Maybe you are getting enough iron.  that tends to make people feel sluggish when they don't get enough iron.  And believe it or not, exercise will give you a boost and help with your physical and mental energy.

  13. try the vitamine B12 get it in liquid form and you squirt it under your toung and leave it there for 30 sec. or so what ever the bottle says. and then you swollow it. young and old people can take it and it makes you feel good! :) good luck.

the only treatment available in the market so far is a medicine for a french  company called Servier ..its name is (Arcalion) .. try to find it in the pharmacies .. it will really help u the dose is 2 tablets daily after breakfast for 3 months..

  15. its the summer you probaby should feel that way. just get some excercise as soon as you wake up. get the blood flowing that way youll feel awake and alert.

  20. Try  more  foods  with iron content,  supplement  helps  but  takes  a  couple  weeks to see help. Many young  ladies  need  more  iron. ADD  B12  to  diet.   If you are  having  depression please  discuss this  also.  You may need  also  see a  gyncolgist for hormone  balance  check. Doctors  rarely  want  to  give  up and  refer  to  another it  seems,  so  some  times  we  have  to do it  ourself.  Keep notebook   of  all visits and  what is  discussed.and  also  the supplements,  meds  you have  taken.    Dont  rely records  will be  sent  to another  Doctor  ,  some times  they are  delayed so new  Doctor  has  to start  over. Dont  give  up.  I  feel it  will be  solved  soon.

  21. Do you take vitamins? They can help out a great deal. If regular "complete" ones don't work try prenatal ones. They give you a lot of the nutrients you need. You could have vitamin b problem. Try out. If nothing else you will be okay with all your Vitamins.

  22. You're not the only one who's tired all the time. Myself as well.

I have thalacemia anemia. I suffer from too much stress and I'm extremely obese.

So all these three things could be the reason why I'm tired all the time.

  23. i agree with the first answer.  I used get tired and ill all the time, and it was due to my job because i was working myself into the ground.  I was so stressed, but you never believe your stressed until your circumstances change and you can reflect on your past situation.  Make sure you eat right, and keep getting enough sleep.  Im 20 yrs old and Im the same if i don't get enough sleep I feel really rough x
