Each time i speak or almost each time i always mix up my sentence. Like if i wanted to say something, in my head i would say it normally but when i say it some of the words get mixed up (meaning like the 3rd word in my phrase goes in the place of the 1st word etc). Would this be linked to me being left handed or something else, thnxs

  1. im left handed,

and i do that occasionally, but everyone does,

what hand u write with shouldnt really matter..

  2. I'm not sure but you might be Dyslexic

  3. I couldn't imagine it has anything to do with being left handed. I have taken college courses in neuropsychology and have heard nothing like that.

It could be caused by a couple of things. First, you might just be in the habit of speaking too fast. Try slowing down a bit, that could help. Second, if this is more short term, like a week or two, you are probably just tired. I have gone through periods like that. I actually did early this summer. If that is the case, rest up and the problem should go away. Third, it could be caused by too much caffeine. If you drink a lot of pop, coffee, or energy drinks, it could certainly cause problems you are experiencing. Finally, you could be a very outgoing person. People who are extroverted tend to talk without putting much thought into it, so you might have trouble figuring out what you are saying, which could cause a lot of trip up.

Assuming you aren't talking about a major speech problem, just occasionally tripping on your words, it is probably one of the problems listed above.

  4. I very much doubt that it's linked to left-handedness.

There are quite a few speech disorders like what you describe most have extra symptoms so try looking them up and matching them.

It could be linked to anxiety, thinking and worrying too much about what you are going to say.

Unfortunately it is extremely difficult to diagnose a speech disorder, and impossible without hearing the speech. Although, unless people often say that they can't understand you, it's not likely to be anything serious, and everyone mixes up words every now and then.
