The Lyon full-back is keen to secure a move away from Stade de Gerland this summer with English Premier League his preferred destination
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international has attracted a lot of suitors in recent times following a number of impressive performances for Les Gones last season.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to England with Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 closely monitoring the player’s situation. Several Italian sides are also interested in attaining the services of the Frenchman but Cissokho prefers a move to the Premier
League over Serie A.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 have already conceded that they will consider selling the defender if a club comes with a right offer for him.
Cissokho’s brother and agent Mamadou Cissokho, told reporters that the 24-year-old wishes to leave as he wants a new challenge in his career. However, the agent stated that the Lyon man would not force a move away from Stade de Gerland and will stay with
the club if he has to.
“The preference would be to depart. Aly wishes to discover a new challenge. But if he has to stay, he will and will do his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. But if there is an opportunity he will seize it.”
While talking to reporters, Mamadou Cissokho said that his client’s priority is to move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. But so far, no club has made an official offer for the player despite the fact that
Les Gones are keen to sell the former Porto man.
"The priority is England or Italy. However, there have been no concrete offers as yet,” the agent told reporters.
Cissokho’s brother said that club president, Jean-Michel Aulas, publicly criticised the defender last month but if he wants the defender to leave, he needs to lower the asking price for the player as no one splash 11 million Euros for a full-back these days.
"Aulas made a show in the press and now he has to take his words into consideration and be sensible about the fee. If he doesn't want the player, he has to let him leave for the right price. €11million for a full-back is impossible nowadays."
Unless Lyon lower their demands for the player, it seems highly unlikely that Cissokho will leave Stade de Gerland despite his desire to depart.
