  1. Financials?  Consumer?  S&P divides the market into 9 sectors.  Minumum would be 1 from each sector.  That would still leave your holdngs at more than 10% of your portfolio each.  I would be more comfortable with 2 from each sector.

  2. AA, CAT are a in the industrial area.

you need to sell one of them and buy in health care like jnj, pfe, mrk..

best wishes to you in your investment.

  3. Somewhat. No financials, no drugs/medical, no tech.

  4. What about cash, cash equivalents, bonds, real estate?  This list is not exhaustive.

  5. You cannot be "diversified" with only five stocks, silly goose!

  6. Somewhat...you could use some exposure in pharmaceutical, financial, health care, agriculture, and defense.

  7. You're fine... as long as everything you own isn't affected by the same market movements. You do not HAVE to have a toe in every corner or sector... invest in areas you like, but don't get too heavy in just one.

You are diverse... you just don't claim to be an index fund !

  8. NO, because you are only investing in stocks. Diversify over different asset classes, not the same one.
