  1. Don't listen to jordan if he is 5'3 and 120 lbs I could snap that tiny kid like a twig no joke. You are healthy but it wouldn't hurt to lose about 5 more lbs NO MORE THAN 10 to show some definition in muscles.

  2. Yes.

I'm a boy 5foot 5 and 3 inches taller than you and Im 120, and Im considered chubby.

Try for 120 or ideally 100.

You are overweight until a small fits comfy.

  3. 5'5"140 doesn't sound overweight.  My ex was about that height and weight and had virtually no fat on her.  It really depends on body composition not BMI (body mass index).  You may be very solid with a small stomach and your weight distributed throughout evenly or you may be very soft with all you weight in the middle.  If your fairly solid, feel health, energetic, and your weight is spread out you're not overweight.  If all your weight is in your stomach you probably could loose some more weight.

  4. it depends on your bodyshape.. im around tht height and the same weight. but i dont look overweight at all. some ppl i kno have the same physical features and their body fat goes in different places

  5. You're considered healthy (:

And congrats on the 15 pounds!  I know thats hard!

Don't obsess about your body- it becomes addicting.

Just continue eating right and exercising and you will soon lose even more weight!

    Xox!

  6. No, that is not considered overweight.

  7. You are NOT overweight, you are at risk of being overweight according to the pediatric BMI Calculator. If you want to keep checking just Google, the Pediatric BMI calculator and enter your information, it will let you know.

  8. I checked out your BMI (body mass indicator) it said officially you are NOT over weight, and are at a healthy weight. Good job with the weight loss! :)

  9. Wow girl good job on the loss i have lost that much too and i am the same size so i would say you are NOT overweight , and i have a question for you if my answer is chosen, if you go from a large to a medium like you and say you weigh maybe 160/150 but you have a large bone structure if you lost enough weight could u fit in to a small if you lose enough weight

    ???

    ANYWAY HOPE I HELPED!

  10. Wow! Thanks for being polite, and no, it's okay you aren't looking for attention.

You are 13 and weigh 140 pounds!! From the stats, you seem okay because you have a taller frame. It's a relief to know you are trying to be healthy and that you are happy with your body.

The best way to determine if you're actually overweight is to use a BMI scale. I know you've heard of this a lot, but it really is simple. It calculates your weight based on your height and then finds your body mass index. Here at Yahoo Answers, we really can't give you a good answer based on some numbers. You may have more muscle than fat, or you might also be big boned.

If you are planning on loosing weight, simply eat right and exercise. This is the most effective way possible. Eat a diet full of lean meats, whole grains, low fat dairy, fruits, and yes veggies.

Get involved in a sport to stay healthy. I highly recommend running Cross-Country and track, they are a lot of fun and keep you active.

I could go on forever telling you things. Enjoy your childhood and do well in school. Good luck, gal! : )

    xoxoxoxo

I am also thirteen. I am 5'6" and barely 90 pounds. At least you have a nice full figure and aren't scrawny like me. Bleh.
