who can only paint their nails perfectly on ONE hand.

It might not be hideous as you think. I think it's normal to do one hand better than the other.

It doesn't do anything of course with being left or right handed.

Piece of info. ;): Left handed people are only 10% of the world. I'm left handed & I'm proud :p :D.

i feel the same way! I mean, my right hand is always perfect, and my left hand is ridiculous! and hayley, don't say "its cause we are right handed" cause there ARE left handed people. im left handed, and i go through the same problem, just in vice versa. you know, even though only 15% of people are right handed, left-handed people tend to be more artistic, creative, SMART, open-minded, open to their emotions, and they ALWAYS have better hand-writting. ha. so there. i know how to push buttons, too.

Well, I used to bad problems with that and all my friends do, because, when your painting with the hand that you don't write with it's really hard. That's why I practiced a lot, and now I'm much better. Hope I helped! Bye!

I *stink* at painting the nails on my right hand!!!

Try laying your right hand, palm down, flat on a table.  Grab the brush in your left hand, and rest the left side of the left hand on the table, too.  In this position, it's pretty much just your thumb and index finger which are controlling the brush. That should steady you enough so you don't get nail polish everywhere!

Im the same way, i cant make my right look good. lol. my left hand gets all shaky and i cant seem to get it close to anything.  Thats part of the reason why i dont paint my nails, my friends ask me if i painted it with my toes, or if a monkey helped.

The trick to being able to use your opposite hand to do things is to strengthen it.  I had to use it more often years ago to play the clarinet and I can use both hands pretty good for being a righty.  I don't mean to do weights or anything but to try and use it more often.  It'll help those who want to do all their nails perfectly.
