  1. No, that reason comes up often in people's answers.  For me, it was a laundry list of reasons, health included.

  2. What does being against cruelty and unnecessary suffering have to do with politics.

If you don't care about the suffering of animals, you wouldn't be vegan, you would be a strict vegetarian or someone that eats a vegan diet.

There are no health benefits to being vegan over eating lean meats moderately if you keep yourself in good shape.

  3. Probably one of the few lol.  Health usually isn't enough to motivate people to do much of anything (diet wise or exercise).  However when something you truly believe in with all your heart is the issue at hand, you are more willing to step up and do something about it.

Either way, thank you for being a vegan :)

  4. I know I did it for the animals.  I think your choice to do it for health reasons was really good too.  A vegan diet is so much healthier than an omnivorous one.

  5. I when I was a ovo-lacto vegetarian I read a book called You Don't Need Meat. The book was all about the health reasons for being vegan and veg. This pushed me to become vegan (for the health reasons) and over the past year I have become just as compassionate about the animal side as I am about the health side.

  6. I Dont Know But You Sure Are The Only One That Types Like This

  7. I didn't know caring about animals was political. I don't partake in animal products because I don't think pain and suffering tastes good or looks good. No politics involved.

  8. I had no idea becoming vegan could be a political thing. I did it because I find it sick eating animals.
