Am I Too Nice?

It seems like every time I speak or stand up for myself the people I know turn on me and act like I'm the biggest b**ch in the world? For example, I just bought a new movie and started watching it when my boyfriend's brothers and some of their friends came in and started watching the movie. I needed to go to the kitchen to check on some food so I paused it and told everyone that I'd be right back I need to ck food really quick. My boyfriend's brother picked up the remote as soon as I left the room and started watching the movie without me. I came back and told him that I really want to see the movie (it was at a really good part) so I asked if I could rewind it back to the part I was on and he got pissed and tossed the remote. He's treated me like I'm the biggest b**ch in the world ever since. I don't understand it? Did I do something wrong in wanting to see my own movie? Everyone is like this to me...am I too nice to them and they always expect that they can just walk over me???

You shouldn't have asked... Just rewind! If they didn't like it, tell them to watch it on their own time! You go girl!! And, next time, take the remote with you... that should frost their balls...HUH?

You bought the movie but you didn't want it for just yourself. Maybe they are nasty but if you do protest make it with some power or don't speak and lose. You could have removed the tape.  Anyhow it is all relative if you wanted him for a friend afterward.

don't be afraid to stand up for yourself.  had they been in the same situation the same action would be taken.  your bf's brother is wrong for doing this especially since u asked to pause it and u were back really quick. i guess he doesn't respect u in a way.  just stand your ground and if people have a problem with it, they have their own issues they need to deal with.

Guys like to call females b**ch. They just throw that word around. It's because you spoke up for yourself. Your BF should not have let his brother do that and then insult you. What's his problem?
