Am I Underweight For My Age?

I'm 15 and I weigh 7 Stone which would be around 98 Pounds... Am I Underweight for my age? My Parents are concerned about me and my Weight, is this something to be concerned about? Also what is the normal Weight for a 15 Year old boy?

  1. There is no "normal" weight for a fifteen year old boy, although there probably is an average weight. Your weight depends on your height and body structure. How tall are you?


  2. At 5'4, you could safely weigh anything up to 145, and anything down to maybe 120-125.  so you are definitely too skinny.  15 year olds are generally skinny, but you should try to gain some muscle weight

  3. Yes. You are underweight. At this age, your body is at its peak of development. Your body is growing. To be 98 pounds is way too thin. Boys at your age and height should be at least 140 pounds for normal weight. You are way below the weight limit.

    I suggest eating more healthy foods. Try Italian, great fresh food.

    Theres also nothing to laugh at for your height. You have to understand your body needs its nutrients to grow to its fullest. You are still growing, but if you don't come to realize you need to eat more, dont be surprised later if you are shorter than avg height for a guy.

    Eat right, drink lots and lots of milk and water. Exercise to build those muscles. You should gain muscle weight.

    Participate in a sport, your in HS. Sports can help you lengthen your body, build muscles and keep you active. You'll be more strong and less thin.
