  1. no

  2. As long as you pick something up next time, no. but the earth isn't going to clean itself up

  3. no because it was an accident, even if it wasn't u said it was your first time littering

  4. yes

  5. that was abit a bad thing to do but since your friend says not to pick it up ; that 's OK & that not a bad thing.

  6. youre not a bad person... you just made the bad decision to  litter...

  7. no it was not on porpose

  8. Hey we all make blunders, just go to a park and pick up some trash on your own or on a street and your karma will be glowing again..

  9. It seems like your friend was the one who influenced you not to pick it up, so it doesn't make you a bad person. But next time, don't listen to your friend (unless it's for good) and pick it up. =)

  10. No...everyone in the world gets a warning for their first time littering, every time after that you get ranked a bad person...the higher the rank you have, the worse person you are

  11. you know d**n well your not

people at starbucks are used to messy people

    get over it

    stop wasting peoples time

if you feel so unbearably guilty that you have to post it in yahoo answers then why dont you spend the time doing something productive like picking up litter :)

  12. The fact that you feel bad about it now says that you have a conscience... congrats. You're already doing one better than half the people out there. So no, you're definitely not a bad person.

In the future you really should make an effort to go back and get whatever you accidentally drop though. As one of my college professors always says, "plastic is forever." It's true, if that plastic cup just sat there it would easily outlast you, your kids, their kids, and their kids. Many people respond to facts like this in a very negative way... it's difficult to accept that we all contribute to something so negative. There is also some simple disbelief... it is sort of unreal when you really stop and wrap your mind around the fact that something that is intended to hold you drink for 10 minutes has the potential to still be around in a recognizable for a few hundred years if it is just thrown away.

A lot of cities are able to recycle that type of plastic now. They used to only usually take plastics labeled 1 and 2, but now many facilities accept numbers 1 - 7. I'm pretty sure that most "disposable" beverage cups are number 5 plastics. That is really the best thing to do with your restaurant cups... after all, when you throw it away it is the same as throwing it in your back yard... it takes just as long to decompose (too long). We just don't have to see it because it gets covered in a landfill along with the other trash.

For the record, bad people are ones who throw batteries and light bulbs into the regular trash and then complain about how fish contain unsafe levels of mercury. Bad people also include mothers who insist on jogging on the side of roads that don't have sidewalks while simultaneously pushing their babies in strollers. I see this so much where I live... I always think, "great idea, it's a baby shield."

  13. it depends did you drop it accidentally, or did you not want to hold it? if u ment do it you should make an effort to picking up other litter and try not to do it again. Someone has to pick it up if it was an accedent don't worry about it but try not to do it again.
