  1. There is much more involved than what your prescription is.  You have to go to an eye doctor and have them do a series of tests to see if you are a candidate for lasik.

  2. Yes. not very. Ask ur eye doc for more info.

  3. go see Lasik plus...the will let you know for free

  4. That prescription is within the limits of what can usually be corrected with LASIK, however, you should speak with an eye surgeon who does LASIK to get measurements to make sure that you'd be a good candidate for refractive surgery...not everyone is.

Those measurements would include a corneal thickness and corneal topography.

    Good luck.

  5. Potentially.  I have seen patients with this much astigmatism get corrected.  There are many factors involved and you should go to a reputable surgeon for a consultation.

  6. i dunno what this means, though i should as im pretty blind myself. just check in with an optometrist and theyll let you know more info than anyone here can. just be careful. theyre mostly successful but ive heard a few...very few...horror stories.

my boss also had a growth arise in his eye after the surgery. it began hemorrhaging and when they took it out to do a biopsy they found cancerous cells. they never figured out what the growth actually was, but this freak thing helped the docs to find out he had cancer elsewhere. ...not that it has much application really, its just crazy! go see the doc and good luck!

  7. Lasik eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
