I am 18, stand 6ft tall and weigh between 169 - 171 lbs am I a healthy weight for my height?

  1. I am your height.  If you are a slim build, like me, then up to 180 lbs is a healthy weight.  I maintain between 165-170 lbs.  When I went above 175 lbs, I had to buy new clothes.


  2. I try to stay around 165 lbs for my 6 ft height.  It is difficult because I lose weight easily through exercise, and I do watch my diet.  My body is slim but not skinny, much like what yours seems like.  If you send a pic to John M, send me one too.

  3. You sound pretty healthy to me.  The question to ask yourself is do you like what you see when you look at yourself naked in the mirror everyday?  If you are worried about your weight then ask your family doctor.  As long as you are eating and living a health life style if does not sound like you have much to worry about, but it is also difficult to honestly say without seeing a picture of a person.
