I'm turning 34 weeks in 55 minutes and I went into pre-labor. I had been 2cm/75%/-1 at 31 weeks. Now I might have gestational diabetes. Am i a high risk without the gestational diabetes?

  1. Because of preterm labor you are now considered a high-risk pregnancy.

  2. Yes, you are at high risk ... that pre-term labor is what gives you that, and the gestational diabetes doesn't help.  See your doctor for every appointment and do what he says, and I hope you have your baby at 'full term' (five pounds or over) and that it's a healthy and happy baby.

  3. Actually for something that serious, call your doctor immediately, almost no one here is a certified doctor.

  4. you should realllly talk to your doctor about this sweety

  5. Really only  your doctor can answer this.

  6. I would consider you high risk because of the pre term labor.

  7. you are high risk because of the pre-labor. i don't know if gestational diabetes would classify you as being a high risk pregnancy though. they will watch the baby and you a little more closley, but i don't think it makes you a high risk.
