  1. There is no such thing as a dirty fighter, and besides, many people do that, it's a good strategy.

  2. Get a new coach, lol.

  3. No, thats just smart thinking and logical strategy, hes probably just bitter that you've found something that works so well against his technique.  Keep it up, its his job to adjust, and if he can't, well then your clearly just the better fighter.

  4. nope! thats smart thinking! if you know how he fights, why fight to HIS advantage? :D

  5. No winning is dirty fighting you won cuz you thought it out and used tactics if you bit his ear off that wouldnt be so good but you didnt so dw about it

  6. yeah kind of because you used your elbows.. and plus u are bigger and thats kind of unfair. you should have just fought cleanly and got to work or practiced more on dodging or waist movement instead of being a punk about it.

  7. i wouldnt say that makes you a dirty fighter but since its just a sparring lesson just take the hits it will give you practice on how to take a hit and it will teach you how to counter but intill then thats pretty good strategy just dont take it to far cuz you can lose points and dq

  8. No, you just used your brains to beat him. I love ppl who do that. It's much cooler than two guys just stratigylessly beating each other up.

('dirty fighting' nowadays seems to mean anyone who outsmarts someone in a fight)

  9. Sounds like it.  Using the elbow is illegal, you could put a nice slice over your partner's eyeball.    Mayweather used his elbows to prevent Hatton from heatbutting.  Good old Ricky would swing, then jump in with a headbutt attack and Floyd would let him run neck-forward into his elbow.  Floyd was technically fighting dirty, but he was simply fighting dirt with dirty.  I doubt you were doing the same.  If I had been  your opponent, I'd have given it back to you twice as much as I took.  You shouldn't do that to a sparring partner, but oh well.

  10. he said you fight like mayweather

    TAKE THAT AS A COMPLIMENT

  11. well that was a very good idea. it wasnt very pro though.

the guy was probably just p***** cuz he lost. ive got to admit it was smart though.

  12. nope its strategy

  13. um ya in my opinion if your constantly doing something to make the sport have to stop and restart again its playing dirty...but then again im a girl so dont value my opinion to much...LOL

  14. Nope, it makes you smarter than him and much more versatile.  Seems this dude needs to learn how you fight in order to beat you.  Keep that in mind next time you fight him, be prepared for a new way that he will fight you.

  15. No a "dirty fighter" uses illegal techniques. Unless the ref penalised you for excessive holding you were fighting smarter than him.

  16. I wouldn't call you dirty, but the move itself is really not something that is tolerable in the sport. In many cases, if a fighter was to do something like, excessively, he/she would be warned and then penalized for the action, even a possible disqualification, if the issue is not addressed.

It's like this, if you feel the need to fight from behind on scoring due to being penalized or risk disqualification, then feel free to keep on doing the elbow thing.

  17. i wouldn't say you're a dirty fighter its just that it was a dirty fight.  if you were more experienced than i would say that you were dirty though.  if you were in a real fight judges would not like that and you'd get a bad score and the ref would probably deduct points if you kept doing it

  18. i think he might just be steamed. you do what you have to do, and that includes making sure you're not cornered. try to keep it clean, though. you might cross the line.

  19. Nope.  It's called good strategy.  The other coach is a whiny little crybaby sissy.  Congrats!

Now if you bit off part of his ear....

  20. Nope.  Good strategy.

  21. It doesn't make you a dirty fighter...

It certainly makes you a boring fighter to watch though...

  22. Well tell you the tuth I hate mayweather but you werent doing what mayweather did you had a better strategy and he just couldnt handle it. You were not cheating and if you keep it up like that you can be great so good luck and i think your cool.!
