Am I able to drive around with just a temporary registration label on my new car?

I just bought a new car recently but haven't had time to go to the secretary of state. I live in Michigan. There's a sticker on the back of the car that says 15-day temporary Michigan registration. Is that good enough to drive around with?

  1. for 15 days

  2. Yes, it is good until it expires. That is why they put it on there.

  3. Yes, as if you had bought the car from a dealership should've told you that you'll have new plates for the car soon.  If bought from a private owner, you have 15 days, like the temp tag says to get a new one  by then.  Other than that, you should be alright to drive around.
