Am I allergic to latex?

i lost my virginity 3 days ago, and my boyfriend wore a latex condom. ever since my v****a has been itching and burning. is it normal? or and i allergic to latex? :/

maybe you have an infection.. safe s*x is not safe at all if you are not clean enough to wash yourself after.

You can test this by acquiring a latex product (hand glove) and letting it touch a part of your skin (arm, hand). If you get redness and itching, then it is quite possible you are allergic to latex. On the other hand, it is also possible that you acquired an infection (even condoms are not 100% effective). Best bet is to visit your doctor or ER.

You are very possibly allergic to latex. It becoming more and more common. Also if you have more exposure to it the reaction can become more severe. So avoid latex. Because some proteins in rubber are similar to food proteins, some foods may cause an allergic reaction in people who are allergic to latex. The most common of these foods are banana, avocado, chestnut, kiwi fruit and passion fruit. Although many other foods can cause an allergic reaction, avoiding all of them might cause nutrition problems. Therefore, it's recommended that you avoid only the foods that have already given you an allergic reaction. Or you may have a yeast infection...

You very well could be. I would however see your doctor in case an infection is coming on. If it turns out to be an allergy, there are latex free condoms. As well, if there was spermicide you could be having a reaction that as well.

Do see your doctor to rule things out. Untreated infections can lead to complications.

this sounds serious...I suggest you go see a doctor and find out whats going on down there...
