Am I allow to raise some chick in my back yard? If I live in a single family in Florida.

i think you have the right to keep the chickens , even if u cant you can always move to alabama, everyone has them here.lol

I don't know about in Florida, but here in Seatle, Washington, you are allowed to keep chickens, as long as they aren't roosters. (Roosters disrupt neighbors with their crowing, but you can have them outside of city limits.)

And chickens aren't wild...they're domesticated. But if you do raise them, you have to get the proper equipment and be careful of any animal that might take off with them as a meal.

NOo chickens are wild and the Animal Control will come and take the chickens away!

no offence what the hellwwas Belle talking about chickens are not wild ... ok for a start ..

anyway i'm fairly sure you probably can

(in ireland you can anyway)

maybe contact local council or authorities so you can find out if you can or you can't?

You will have to check with your local City Ordinances.

  Until last year we could have chickens in the City Limits but as of last year they adopted an ordinace that you can only have 12 "Barnyard Fowl". . . . just enough of the right people complained about the crowing of roosters etc.
