Am I allowed to carry cosmetics in my carry on?

Yes, I travel all the time....you can put things such as powder and lip gloss in your purse, but if you take base or creams, you need yo make sure and put those in a clear one qt size zip-lock baggy. I normally just take my whole makeup bag out and put empty it into a zip lock baggy to be safe. And then slip that baggy down in my purse or carry on. But you will have to take it out when you go through the security check point. They have never once said anything to me about lip gloss or mascarea. Hope that helps

yes, such things like base,powder,mascara,blush,eye liner ,lipstick are all fine. Just not items that are in large bottles,it must be 4 ounces or less.

Yes, you can.  But all gels and liquids must be the small travel size (100 ml or 3 oz.) and must all fit into a 1 quart plastic ziploc bag (that size bag will hold about 8 such items).
