I am flying from Florida to London in a few weeks and need to bring a bedspread set which is packaged in a cardboard box. The box is well taped and will have my details on it etc - will the airline have a problem with me checking in a cardboard box?

I am flying Virgin Atlantic Premium Ecomony and am allowed 2 pieces checked in - one will be my suitcase, one the box (both well within the weight limits) sooo is this OK?

  1. most likely but be prepared for it to be ripped and smashed                          @(*L*)@

  2. I've Been On Aeroplanes Quite Alot And There Was No Problem Of Me Checking In With A Cardboard Box. The Bed Sheets Dont Seem Like They Weigh Much, But Always Check With The Airline How Many KG You Can Check-In Before You Check It In.

  3. Economy and Premium Economy passengers may take 1 piece of hand baggage on board. Individual dimensions not to exceed 23 x 36 x 56cm, (approx 9 x 14 x 22 inches) and 13lb/6kg in weight.
