  1. how about change it around and put things in your own words,

in the movie Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham (3KG), there was a part where he was putting a bangle on her wrist while telling her sweet words, i took those words and played around with them, and wrote it in a card for my hubby

  2. The teacher probably won't be able to tell it's plagiarized since the spelling and grammar will be so atrocious.

Edit: If you really want a good grade on your poem, use correct grammar.  But then the teacher will be able to tell it's plagiarized, and give you a 0.  I guess you are screwed either way.

  3. It's definitely plagiarism.  You could maybe take a key phrase or two, and say you were "inspired" by the song.  But you can't just translate someone else's work and call it your own.  The teacher might not know you did it, but it's still wrong.

That's like asking:  "In Spanish class, I'm supposed to write a story in Spanish.  Do you think it's okay to just translate "Shawshank" by Stephen King?"

    See how silly that sounds?

  4. As long as you site it, that means put down the source of where you got it from. If you do that then translating it english shouldn't be a problem.
