Am I allowed to go underwater WITH AN EARPLUG if I have swimmer's ear?

Only one ear is infected, and if I put a really good earplug in can I go underwater?

I kayak and I had swimmers ear and I got he costo molds. they work great!

yes, i used to have wax plugs but im picking up my custom molds today. just make sure they dont fall out, i reccomend the molds.
