  1. NO! Transporting agriculture/fruits/seeds is illegal!

  2. yes your allowed to as long as the plant is legal although they will give you a hard time about it so be carefull and arrive at the airport early.

  3. yes, but if you are traveling abroad you have to report it to the customs...

  4. I think you are allowed to...We did when it was my birthday my brother got me a plant and we could take it with us. If you are going to have to be carful with it in a zip-lock bag though.

  5. It depends where you are traveling to. Internationally it will be illegal.  Some states won't let you bring certain plants from another area.

  6. I just do'nt see why it would'nt be legal !?! .. But that may not be a smart way to do it !?! Doing it that way may be a better chance of leaves & or stems beaing crushed, bent or broken !?! furthermore the leaves may have a better chance of being torn!?! Or even bruised!?! Which may cause the growth/process to slow down greatly !! If it'll even still have a chance to grow!?!. But g/l anyway !!?!!.   rRr

  7. Hi I'm not entirely sure, but I think that if you are flying domestically, you are allowed to take fresh fruits. Live plants would probably be along the same lines.

  8. I think you need a permit for that especially.  In my country even those travelling by sea craft within the country need that permit.

  9. No.

They're worried about soil and plants carrying viruses and

    insect pests.

    Further detail:

The soil and seeds are considered just as dangerous as the plants. Still no.

  10. Not if it's Marijuana plant. lol.

You may have a problem because fertilizer and soil can contain nitrates used in construction of bombs.

Another thing to consider is that there are agricultural regulations to help prohibit the spread of plant diseases, salmonella, etc. that may also prevent you from taking it across state lines or Country borders in your luggage especially, as it would have to be inspected to even be considered.

You could actually ship the plant to your destination via UPS, etc. I used to get plants from New York sent through the mail, UPS to Florida where I live.
