  1. There are special provisions and limits on meat and food products in various European countries. You better check the provions of the country you plan to travel to.

  2. Yes

There is no law that prevents you taking your frozen foods for a holiday in another EU country.

  3. probably not a great idea as frozen stuff tends to melt..

  4. Yes, but why would you?

Why not go to a local farmer's market and get delicious fresh produce instead?

  5. Yes you certainly can, put it in a cold bag with some ice packs and use that as your cabin bag.

We did this when we went on holiday a few years ago, we were staying in a villa and were arriving in the evening, we just took a few bits to tide us over until we could find a shop.

    Its not tight, just sensible.

  6. Yes you can transport frozen food within the EU for holiday purposes.  Whether the food will enjoy the holiday is another question :-)

  7. There are certain foods you cannot take into individual countries. Your airline or travel agent can help you on that one. Many countries don't allow meat products to be taken into their country. It's better to be safe than fall foul of the law where you are going.
