I have Narcolepsy and require Methylphenidate (Ritalin) to function and behave like a normal person. Otherwise I fall asleep without wanting to and can sometimes get hurt.

I have a prescription and a letter from my doctor. My medications are clearly labelled and in there original packaging.

However I know Thailand has really strict drug laws and I don't want to do anything illegal or get in any trouble. I am only travelling for 2 weeks and only taking what I requrie for the 2 weeks.

  1. you are fine.  Thai drug laws do not interfere with travellers bringing prescriptions into the country.

Should you lose your meds or need more, it is easy to get them replaced here without a prescription for a very cheap price.

Don't worry about, come and enjoy your holiday!

  2. Yup. Keep them labeled just as you have done and  you will be fine. I will advise that you carry them on in case some thing happens to your bag. I've done it many times with my 2 "black box" prescriptions and had absolutely no problem.

    Have a nice trip!

  3. no problem but make sure your friends going with you know about this.

  4. You have what you need.  Your have no problems.
